The Body for the Lord

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

1 Corinthians 6:13

Why is the body for the Lord? Do you have control over your whole body? Those who are older may wish to be young again, and those who are younger want to be older and wiser. It is the catch-22 dilemma or stumbling block that each human must face. No one can escape the aging process of their physical body. James, the brother of Jesus, commented that a perfect man can control their whole body. Do we need bridles to control our whole body? As humans, we struggle with our own humanity, with our emotions running high and reacting to everything that comes our way. We need some clear answers to continue on the path we are taking, yet we stumble and can’t find our way out of the situation we may find ourselves in.

“For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.” James 3:2

How many of us are perfect men or women who can control their own bodies? It is our mind that speaks through our mouth, and this is polluting our bodies. Whatever you put into your body is the result of its output. This is a good reminder for all of us, for it is the same process that whatever we listen to sets up our mind as well. We are taught to take care of our bodies in what we eat and do, so we can get the best results for our physical well-being.  Science has taught, and is still investigating the truth of what is happening within our bodies when it comes to DNA, cancer, and diseases.  Sadly, certain industries are destroying our food source and creating cancer and decay within our bodies. We can not ignore the importance of maintaining good health by following proper nutrition.  In the Old Testament, the Jews were told by God what they should eat to maintain a healthy body. We need the wisdom of God to help us through the many obstacles of the food chain today, to even stay in good health. No one can deny the challenges we have in staying the course for good nutrition for our bodies.

The Jewish News comments that “We live in a time where misinformation is increasingly common. Rumors spread quickly, and social media has made a significant contribution to this.” It is important to be careful what one posts on social media so as not to become a part of the problem of spreading rumors, but to pray and seek out the truth for the questions you have. We all must have patience when seeking answers to our questions.  Sometimes, plain common sense is the key to being more aware, and reflecting on situations is wiser before one makes any decisions towards a plan of action. We ask God for wisdom in all situations. Many Christians just do not think about how their own bodies are the members of Christ. However, the apostle Paul was fully aware that our bodies are the members of Christ.

“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.” 1 Corinthians 6:15

Let us consider another scripture, what the apostle Paul said in Romans chapter 8.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11.

The body for the Lord, and the Lord for the body, is the result of transformation. Being changed into the image of Christ in all we do and say. This is done by the Spirit of God. It is the Spirit of Christ that will raise up our bodies, and it will quicken our mortal bodies. This is not only for a future date, but is for us today. We have the healing atonement that Christ has provided for each of us who is saved. I recall that in the 1980s, the Firm Believer fitness program, created by Bobbie Wolgemuth and Judy Moser, gained popularity. Their goal was to meet the needs of Christians who were seeking to live a healthier lifestyle. Many Christians endorsed the program, and some churches opened their doors to having a weekly exercise program.  I also remember watching the Jack LaLanne and the Richard Simmons show, which featured exercise routines to help keep our bodies fit for everyday living.

How Christians have asked God in prayer to help them through those crash diets, those habits of eating too many sweets, or feelings of tiredness, fatigue, and exhaustion that hamper us from doing what we should be doing to stay physically and spiritually fit. Do we truly care about what we eat and the type of physical activity we engage in every day? No matter what age you are taking care of your own body is a daily routine. Disease is growing at a rapid rate, according to the World Health Organization, and this is creating global pandemics. As Christians, we should be aware and concerned about how to keep our bodies as belonging to the Lord and not for self-indulgence.

How can we present our bodies to the Lord as a living sacrifice as Paul tells us in Romans 12:1. Let us not forget that the apostle Paul stated that our “body is not for fornication but for the Lord, [1 Corinthians 6:13]?  Paul also asked the question in 1 Corinthians 6:15, “know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?” How does this apply to our physical body? It is not only our mind, will, and emotions that belong to the Lord, but our physical body as well. That is why Jesus went about healing everyone who was sick or who had a disease. Salvation and healing are found in the cross of Christ because he bought us with a price. The body is to be holy because it is washed and justified through the blood of Christ.

For ye are bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s

1 Corinthians 6:20

Our body is not to be used in selfish indulgences such as overeating or sexual immorality. Paul states to flee fornication because it is a sin against our own body [see 1 Corinthians 6:18]. Run away from sexual immorality and keep your own body pure and holy. Our body is part of the sanctification process through Christ, and now it belongs to the Lord. That is why Paul exclaims that “all things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any, [1 Corinthians 6:12]. We should not be brought under the power of anything that would degrade our bodies towards death rather than towards life. We are not to be conformed to the worldly ways of practicing selfish indulgences but to cease from them and be transformed by the renewing of our minds to what is good for us physically and spiritually. God is concerned for our whole being, and not just a part of it.

If thy whole body, therefore, be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp doth give thee light.

Luke 11:36

The whole body is to be full of light, having no part of darkness within it. Pray and ask the Lord to help heal your body and to get your appetites and desires under control. Ask God for help in taking steps to build up your physical body by changing your diet to one that supports a healthy immune system. Ask the Lord to help you maintain your health through exercising every week. Ask the Lord to guide you and your doctor to consider natural alternatives to building and maintaining a healthy body. Remember, He cares for you and your body, for you are presenting your body to the Lord as a living sacrifice [see Romans 12:1].

What is Godliness?

“Exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
1 Timothy 4:7-8

What is Godliness? Godliness is a devout lifestyle or devotion to God whereby one is changed into the image of Christ. A person becomes God-like in character and follows Christ. Godliness is more than just a style of living; it is an obedient life walking in love, wisdom, and the grace of God. Reading 1 Timothy 6, I found that the Apostle Paul references godliness as a doctrine. In otherwords, godliness is part of the belief system we have in Christ. There is a distinct difference between wholesome words of the Lord and non-wholesome words in the world. Godliness speaks to the conduct and character of a person. That person is Jesus Christ. I can remember singing a hymn titled “To Be Like Jesus.”

To be like Jesus, To be like Jesus.
All I ask, is to be like Him.
All thru life's journey from earth to glory,
All I ask, is to be like Him.

Does our character align with the true meaning of godliness? Godliness is those who are holy, God-like, and faithful. Godliness is holiness. Listen to what the Apostle Peter said.

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;”

1 Peter 1:15

God is holy, so you should also be holy in all manner of speech. Speech is wholesome words. These words are the words of God. We are to be partakers of the divine nature of God. We are to be changed into the image of Christ. This is the race we run in our lives. To be like Him. To be God-like, holy, and faithful. It is a life of devotion and commitment to God’s will. Many display an outward appearance of godliness, but within their heart is anything but godliness. They complain and want more for themselves rather than being content with what they have. The apostle Paul conveyed how one’s devotion towards God can be devotion towards something else, such as a selfish ambition. We find the Apostle Paul speaking in 1 Timothy 4:7, that one is to exercise oneself towards godliness. How is this done? The answer is in Acts.

“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.”

Acts 24:16

True devotion towards God is always characterized by a clear conscience towards God and towards men. The question arises as to what form of godliness do we have? Let us read another scripture that sheds a little more light.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

1 Timothy 1:5

Godliness is in the person of Jesus Christ. Godliness is changing our dirty garments into clean garments [see Genesis 35:2]. This is done through love. For God so loved the world that He gave us His Son [John 3:16]. And what did Jesus say was the great commandment?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:36-39

To love God should not be a burden. It should not be painful, for Jesus took that pain upon himself on the cross. Jesus gave us the victory to overcome the world. We must believe that He can perform within us what is needed. To change a heart of stone into a heart of flesh where love reigns. Relinquish your control to God and allow Him to move into your life.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:3-4

A true form of Godliness expresses love. We love Him because He first loved us. Love brings a pure heart and a clear conscience. Paul states it is of faith unfeigned. Faith in Christ is a sincere, heartfelt commitment. Godliness is devoid of hypocrisy or ulterior motives. Paul gives a warning about those who suppose that gain is godliness [see 1 Timothy 1:5]. We should be aware that the form of godliness can be performed in the flesh, being works-oriented instead of being in the spirit of Christ’s love. Having riches does not mean we are Godly people. Having the will to get rich through the Gospel is destructive and traps one into wrong thinking and lustful desires [1 Timothy 6:9]. Only Godliness with contentment is great gain [ 1 Timothy 6:6]. Being content with what you have is the key to Godliness, for God is our provider, and we believe in His providence. As we obey the word, we will become a peculiar treasure to God and become a kingdom of Priests. This is the ultimate vision of God.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. Exodus 19:5

Continue to exercise yourself towards Godliness and become the vision of God through Christ, reflecting His holiness and character. Remember that Godliness is profitable unto all things, having the promise of life. Let us ask God to be like Jesus every day of our lives.

Be Filled with the Spirit

“And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.”

Ephesians 5:18

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? To be filled with the Spirit is to walk in the Spirit and not to walk in the flesh. Have you not been quickened together with Christ and saved by grace? If we have been quickened with Christ and saved by grace, we should be walking in the Spirit whereby we have been sealed unto the day of redemption [Ephesians 4:30]. This is the gospel of your salvation that the apostle Paul spoke about in Romans.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.”

Romans 1:16

Jesus Christ’s resurrection brings in the power of God. It was Jesus Christ himself who spoke of the promise of the Spirit’s indwelling in the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 16, which states, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.” Oh, how we need the Spirit to guide our path in these days. The Holy Spirit is to be our comforter and guide in everyday living. Jesus did not want us to be orphans; He wanted us to be His children. The Holy Spirit is to teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance [see John 14:26]. The Holy Spirit will also teach us what we need to know and hear in the Holy Scriptures. We are to be filled and led by the Spirit so that we do not go back under the law, where the works of the flesh bring us back into bondage. The works of the flesh that we were saved out of such as adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying’s, murders, drunkenness, raveling’s, and such like as is stated in Galatians 5:21. If we are in Christ, we have crucified the flesh with its desires. We put to death these desires by binding them in the name of Jesus. We are no longer under its control, and the Holy Spirit comes to dispel those desires.

Have you received the Holy Spirit? This is a question for every believer in Christ. If you are a believer in Christ, you are His disciple, and you shall receive the Holy Spirit of God. We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives to teach us every day, for temptations are visible, and we must make decisions not to fall into their depths. How can we compare spiritual things with spiritual [see 1st Corinthians 2:13] if we do not have the Spirit of God residing within us? We need the Holy Spirit’s guidance to lead us into the truth of God’s word and to discern its meaning. This is more than just mere head knowledge of the bible. This is a deep, heartfelt knowledge that becomes a proven fact in your life. It is proven because you are walking in it and experiencing it firsthand. The apostle Paul states that the natural man cannot receive and know the things from the Spirit of God [ see 1st Corinthians 2:14]. We must have the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, and keep us in the glorious light of Christ. There is so much disillusionment and false teaching regarding the Holy Spirit that the Spirit is literally stamped out of our lives as well as the church. When this happens, we become dead in Christ rather than alive in Christ.

After I got saved, I went with a small group to another church where the pastor laid his hands on our heads to receive the Holy Spirit. We all started to speak in tongues. Was this wrong? No, it is no different than what happened in Acts 8:17 and Acts 9:17. I went back to my church, and word spread in the church about the young people who received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. The pastors of the church said it was of the devil, and those who spoke in tongues were to stop. I happened to miss the service where this was said, but I had a long discussion about it with one of my friends. My faith stumbled. I could not believe that something so joyous was of the devil. The apostle Paul told the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians 5:19, “Quench not the Spirit.” Some churches are doing exactly that, quenching the Spirit of God. Why? Because they do not understand, nor believe in the Holy Spirit. For the church, it was a matter of control within the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit has not been taught within the church and is therefore devoid of knowledge about the Holy Spirit. In fact, some believe that it was only for a specific time period of the early church in 30 AD.

At that time, I was not assured that what happened to me was good or bad since I was a new believer in Christ. The truth about the Holy Spirit I kept to myself, and I struggled with it for a while, not being completely sure about the work or presence within the believer’s life. However, when I had my prayer time or when I sang in church, I knew I still had God’s Spirit residing within me, for I sensed His presence. This was a heartfelt experience, and I know I was praying and singing to a person. That made a big difference in my life, just knowing to whom I was praying and singing to. That God was real in my life and that I had experienced His divine intervention. It was not magic; it was real, and God proved it to me. The Apostle Paul said, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit,” [Galatians 5:25]. To walk in the Spirit is the process of sanctification, where we are being transformed into the image of Christ. A.W. Tozer commented that the average Christian lives a worldly life that is not much different from that of the unconverted person. There must be a change from what we were to what we now are in Christ; otherwise, we nullify the work of Christ on the Cross.

Our God is our protector, healer, and provider. He will always provide us with what we need in life as long as our faith is grounded in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have been given the privilege to pray to our Heavenly Father. It is through Jesus that we can also receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated that “he that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water,” [John7:38]. Look at the next verse in John 7:39, where it states that He spoke about the Spirit, that those who believe should receive the Holy Spirit. God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in spirit and in truth.

“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:22-24

I pray that you know to whom you are worshipping. Every believer should have the living water flowing out of his heart, which is the Holy Spirit. Every believer should know to whom they are worshipping and praying. Every believer should test the spirit to see if it is of the Spirit of God.

“Try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

1 John 4:2

The Holy Spirit will always point to Christ; if it does not, it is not of the Spirit of God. Remember that Satan has his spirits as well. That is why the Apostle John told us to test the spirits in 1 John chapter 4. Look at verse three of John chapter 4, where he states, “every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God.” In fact, John states that this is the spirit of antichrist, and is already in the world. So, there is the spirit of antichrist, and there is the Spirit of God. Know the difference. Be assured that you stand in the liberty where Christ has made us free from all the works of the flesh. Christ has given us the Holy Spirit as our comforter to help us walk as disciples of Christ. This is the down payment of our inheritance (the Holy Spirit) until the redemption of the purchased possession [see Ephesians1:13-14]. Read Ephesians 5:16-20:

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Ephesians 5:16-20

If you lack the Holy Spirit in your life, ask God to fill you with His Spirit in the name of Jesus. Read the Gospel of John chapter 14, verses 13-26. It will happen as you believe.

NOTE: Read last week’s post titled, “We Have Obtained an Inheritance.” There has been a technical issue preventing the post from being sent out.

Joy Fulfilled

“And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.” John 17:13

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11

Is your joy fulfilled? What does it mean to have Jesus’ joy be fulfilled within us? Jesus said to continue in my love and abide in my love [see John 15:8-10]. Jesus said, “Herein is my Father glorified.” The Father is glorified when we stay in the love of Jesus. As we remain in the love of Jesus, we will bear fruit. We will see beyond what we were or how we have begun in Christ. This is to bring the joy of the Lord within our hearts.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalms 28:7

Many will go their own selfish ways, but the Lord will be the strength and shield to those who trust in Him. Those who trust in His help every day. Is your heart rejoicing in the Lord every day? You may be going through a dry spell or a purging of your ways, but the Lord is preparing you for a better way to walk in this world. This is what Jesus prayed for in John chapter 17. Take note of the seven petitions that Jesus prayed.

  • That we may have joy.
  • To keep us from evil.
  • Sanctify us through the word of truth.
  • We are sent into the world.
  • As Jesus was sanctified, so are we sanctified through the truth.
  • That we would be one in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The glory that the Father gave to Jesus, Jesus offers to us that we may be one.

This prayer was not only for the twelve disciples, but for all whom the Father gave unto His Son. Those who believed in Jesus as the Son of God, the gift of salvation for all men and women. What about the following verse?

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

Habakkuk 3:18-19

Habakkuk was a man with spiritual character who fulfilled God’s calling upon his life. Habakkuk had a great love for his people, but he could not understand why God used Babylon as a rod of correction. Habakkuk questions God about what is happening to his people. The afflictions they are receiving from the ungodly. What was the reason for the rod? The answer is given in Habakkuk 2:4-5. It is man’s soul that is lifted up when he is not righteous before the Lord. These are men who are proud, who drink too much wine, and who do not come home. A man who goes after his own desires and is not satisfied. A man who has lots of people under him to rule. If you are perplexed at what you are witnessing in the world today, you are not alone.

Despite the significant challenges we may face every day, “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations,” [James 1:2]. God wants us to grow and mature as followers of Jesus. Our faith must stand on the foundation of Jesus and nothing else. Through faith comes spiritual life. Without faith, it brings spiritual death. The key factor we may miss is Habakkuk’s relationship with God. They had an open dialogue with each other. Plus, God answered Habakkuk’s questions. We do not see any doubt within Habakkuk’s character. Yet, Habakkuk stated, “I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation,” [see Habakkuk 3:18].

Habakkuk had a relationship with the Lord God. He was one with God. The prayer petitions of Jesus are for believers’ lives to stay in fellowship and be one with Him and the Father. Circumstances are not to take them away from the love of the Lord God. We are to have joy no matter what conditions we find ourselves in. We are to resist evil and follow the path of Jesus. We are sanctified through the word of truth. The Holy Spirit will guide us into the truth of our own ways, if they are different from God’s ways. We must repent of our own ways to walk the spiritual life in Christ. If you are standing in faith, rejoice in the Lord. Some Christians are barely making it today. Hold unto faith with a good conscience.

Let us rejoice in the Lord, for “He will make our feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make us walk in high places,” [see Habakkuk 3:19]. Rejoice in the Lord, for you will overcome all obstacles. Joy will be fulfilled as the Lord will enlarge the steps of your feet so you will not fall [see Psalms 18:36]. Do not allow circumstances to take your joy away. Bring out the stringed instrument and sing unto the Lord God. Remember His words and fellowship daily with the Lord God. Your Joy will be fulfilled.

Living Sacrifice

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1

The Christian life is a service for the glory of God. I have rarely heard pastors talk about presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice. Do we really know what this means? The Hebrew word for sacrifice is [zebach], which refers to the act of slaughtering an animal. It can also mean the act of offering something of value to God. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was worth the whole world. We cannot fathom the value of God’s Son. For God so loved the world that He gave us His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. The apostle Paul is speaking to the Roman Christians about what is acceptable unto God. Have you ever noticed how Paul presented himself at the beginning of the chapters of Romans? “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.” [Romans 1:1]. Remember that Paul was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes [see Romans 1:16].

Now we move to Romans chapter 12, and the apostle Paul is declaring to the Christians in Rome to present their bodies as a living Sacrifice that is holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. [see Romans 12:1]. Presenting our bodies as our reasonable service is something we are not accustomed to doing. We need a different mindset to even understand what this means.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servantYe are bought with a price; 1 Corinthians 7:22-23

Take note of the word freeman, which means a person who is not a slave, or a person who is entitled. We are now Christ’s servants because we have believed in Him. Christ sacrificed himself for our salvation. He has bought us at a great price. That means we as humans are valuable in God’s eyes. To present our bodies to God is to follow Christ’s example of giving up His own body for us. We are to dedicate ourselves to God in everything we do. This is not a partial dedication; this is a full dedication and decision to follow God by giving Him our bodies since we belong to Him. Through His love, He gave us Jesus Christ, His Son. God sees us through His Son; therefore, we have full inheritance and entitlement to all the promises of God.

As we present our bodies as a living sacrifice, we are separating ourselves from the world. Look at verse two of Romans chapter 12. Paul states, “Be not conformed to this world.” Conformed means not to adopt the form of those around you. We adopt instead the form of Christ and his character. Our mind is transformed into Christ. We are members of the body of Christ, and we do not all have the same office. It is God who gives each person a measure of faith. If you lack faith, you can ask for more. The apostle Paul mentions that the gifts differ according to the grace that was given us. He mentions prophecy, ministry, teaching, and exhortation [see Romans 12:3-8]. We are not to be high-minded above others in the gifts that we receive. These gifts are to edify the body of Christ. Love is the key to serving one another.

Through love, we are truly able to serve one another. As we become living sacrifices, we will learn to serve one another through the gifts that He has bestowed upon the members in the body of Christ. Then in verse 12 of Chapter 12, of Romans, we will be able to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and continue diligently in prayer. Are you praying with care and conscientiousness? Are you in fellowship with the Father God? These are questions to meditate upon, especially if you are not praying diligently every day. The days we are living in are evil, and we should be praying to God to keep us from all evil. We are to overcome evil with good. Some say this is not easy to do. In the flesh, yes, but in the Spirit of Christ we stand in victory. As we present our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God, we are conscientious in knowing who we are in Christ.

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

2 Corinthians 3:3

We are living representations of Christ. Think about this and ask God through the Holy Spirit to move upon your bodies to do good unto others. Let us be separated from the world and be consecrated to God. We each have a spiritual purpose. We each have an inheritance through Christ. Let us walk in it every day and prove what the perfect will of God is by renewing our minds and presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to the glory of God.
