“Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:” Job 7:14

As we have now entered the Fall season, I began to think about dreams and visions. In the past, I had some terrifying dreams of demons chasing after me. I found within my spirit rebuking them in the name of Jesus. Job said he was scared of dreams and terrified of the visions God had shown him. All dreams and visions are to be tested by the word of God for not all of them are from God. Some visions can take over twenty years to fruition while others only in a couple of years.

We do not always understand or interpret dreams and visions in the right context. However, we are to assess the validity of having these dreams and visions. God spoke to Job about it and said that He spoke” once, yea twice, yet man perceived it not,” [Job 33:14]. It is God who ” opens the ears of men, and sealed their instruction,” [Job 33:16]. This means that interpretations of dreams and visions is important as to its actions, but remember it is God who will open the ears and eyes of men.
