Let Us Have Grace

“Wherefore, we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:” Hebrews 12:28

We are receiving a kingdom that cannot be moved or shaken. We have the assurance that God’s word will not return void [see Isaiah 55:11]. God will accomplish what He has set out to do. Many Christians forget that they cannot impose their own will upon God or others. Doing so can cause a stumbling block for the Christian and the individual you are trying to change. If we do not move in grace through the Spirit of God, we are sowing in the flesh and not in the Spirit of God.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8

What we think in our mind is not what God is thinking. I find that in His word there is a different way of thinking and many times it is in conflict with what we are thinking. Grace is the kindness and love of God. Grace is God’s mercy towards humanity. Grace came through Jesus Christ. We are justified through Jesus and not through our own righteousness. Grace gives us the ability to serve God. It does not matter what position you have in life; no one is greater than another person. Jesus said,

The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.” John 13:16

We are all one in the Lord. Let us continue to walk in love having the grace of God to serve God and others through His mercy.
