“And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12
Increase and abound in love states the apostle Paul to the Thessalonians. Every Christian should heed the call to love one another. Remember the Gospel song where the chorus exclaims, “And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love.” Sometimes we forget to have the love of Jesus for each other. This was the new commandment that Jesus gave us in the Gospel of John chapter 13, verses 34-35. Love is the defining key in knowing that we are His disciples. Allow His love to rule within your own heart every day and His love will abound and increase in your life.
