“Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.” Ephesians 4:1

In the world we are living in today, we need to be reminded about our walk in the Lord. Is our walk worthy of the calling of the Lord? No one can deny that many Christians fall short of truly walking in the calling of the Lord. As Christians we need to endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, [see Ephesians 4:3]. We are called into the kingdom of God. First Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 12, remarks to “walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” We forget to surrender our carnal ways to the Lord, to die to the desire of our own flesh and walk worthy before God and man. The scriptures states, “with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love,” [see Ephesians 4:2]. Let us affirm our calling in the Lord by putting on the new man in Christ through prayer and supplications.
